Transport mode
Chosen for the actual shipment.
Sea, rail, road and air are compared for a specific shipment and lane. We do not publish fixed transit times or per-kilo prices: they depend on the cargo, the season and the forwarder's terms on the quote date.
LCL or full container
When the order can wait and landed cost per unit matters most.
Road and rail
When you need a balance of time and cost; the route is confirmed with the forwarder.
Goods with refrigerant
Cargo composition and transport restrictions are confirmed before the mode is chosen.
Quote inputs
What we need to compare quotes.
Missing some of it is normal. We start with what is known and flag what still has to come from the factory.
- Product description and HS codes, if already known
- Number of packages, dimensions and gross weight
- Factory city and delivery address
- Order ready date
- Incoterms agreed with the factory (EXW, FOB, etc.)
- Whether a pre-shipment inspection is needed
- Whether the goods contain refrigerant or batteries
